🤖💻“Could we really turn a Figma design into production-ready code almost entirely with AI… without drowning in <div>s?” That was the question during Centric’s Innovation Days last December. Spoiler alert: They did it! 🙌 And what usually takes 4 days, they nailed in just 2, thanks to Claude AI. Here are some key take-aways on how they did it and if you're curious for more, 👉 check out the full story here: https://lnkd.in/dqHCYfGC #GreatPeople #GreatExpertise #SurroundYourselfWithOpportunities

The Illusion of Progress AI tools like v0.dev or Figma AI are incredible. They let us explore faster, visualize ideas instantly, and turn prompts into prototypes in seconds. But that speed can also fool us. A polished prototype isn’t a finished product — it’s just the beginning of a conversation. The real opportunity isn’t to slow down, but to think faster. To use AI’s acceleration with intent, not inertia. Because in the end, it’s not about how many ideas we generate — but how clearly we decide which ones are worth building. Judgment will become the real design skill.

We do not deliver any AI-generated work to clients. An honest answer I gave to leads on the call last week. Why are we still cautious with AI? Well, apart from the occasional AI hallucinations happening in the production 😅, I feel like AI tools are much "easier" to be leveraged in product-focused businesses rather than service companies. Vendors always put their skin in the game, and without controlling the quality output completely, the risk is just too high. And that's not to say we do not use AI tools. Figma MCP, in collab with Cursor, was one of our latest tryouts. We experiment immediately and freely in our internal projects. That allows us to understand the tech without compromising the quality for our clients. Hopefully, 2026 will be the year when we can bring more of this directly to our clients with AI capabilities overcoming current dead ends. We all want to be "early" with AI, but the adoption only works when it is bulletproof.

Ever wondered why your figma starts hallucinating when you dump a claude code to build a webapp? You should probably try the model context protocol to interface claude with figma. This is an effective open source framework developed by Anthropic to standardize the way AI agents communicate. #mcp #AI #AIAgents

Figma’s 2025 AI report makes one thing clear: when it comes to building AI products, design matters even more. More than half of AI teams say design is more critical for AI-powered products than non-AI products. The unpredictability of generative AI means users need clearer guidance, better feedback loops, and more thoughtful interfaces. Core design principles still hold, but AI is changing how designers apply them. This type of work calls for more flexibility, faster iteration, and closer collaboration with engineers to understand how models behave and make decisions. Read the full article for more. 👇🏼

The new AI Press Review is available ! Find it every Monday on our LinkedIn page. Here are the four news items of the week : News 1 – Hallucinations: what’s really behind them? OpenAI just released a detailed statistical study on hallucinations. The study identifies a systemic bias in model evaluation, showing that current methods encourage response over uncertainty and train models to answer even when they don’t know, a pattern that fuels hallucinations. To address this, OpenAI proposes a new evaluation paradigm that penalizes confident errors and rewards appropriate uncertainty. In other words, the future of trustworthy AI may depend less on model size and more on how we measure truth itself. News 2 - Vibe coding era is here We’re entering the vibecoding era, where describing an idea is enough to bring it to life. With the latest update to AI Studio, Google introduces a new paradigm for product creation. By automating most of the development layer, Gemini 2.0 Pro and Veo make prototyping nearly frictionless, allowing teams to turn ideas into prototypes in record time. This evolution marks a shift from coding to co-creating, empowering professionals to focus on vision and design while AI manages the complexity behind the scenes. News 3 - Weavy joins Figma Figma is expanding deeper into AI with the acquisition of Weavy, a startup focused on image and video generation, now rebranded as Figma Weave. Last year, Weavy established itself as a new generation system for visual creation, allowing designers to combine multiple AI models within a single workflow to generate complex, high-quality visuals through simple prompts. This acquisition reinforces Figma’s leadership in the rapidly evolving market for AI-driven creative tools and reflects its ambition to shape the future of digital design. News 4 - OpenAI eyes a historic IPO According to the latest report, OpenAI plans to go public in 2027 with an ambitious valuation of 1 trillion dollars, positioning the company among the world’s most valuable. Analysts project the company could raise over 60 billion dollars, funds that would be used to expand its AI infrastructure and further anchor OpenAI in the global AI economy. AI PARTNERS is your partner for seamless AI adoption.

How to Make AI Prototypes Actually Look Like Your Product and DS🤔 Let’s be honest, one of the biggest struggles with AI prototyping tools isn’t the logic. It’s the look. You prompt for a quick dashboard mockup and end up with something that looks… vaguely inspired by your product, but not quite there. After spending way too many hours testing tools like Bolt, V0, and others, here are the three best methods I’ve found to bridge that gap 👇 ⚡️1. Screenshots, The Quick Start Perfect for when you just want to get going. Take screenshots of your product’s key screens → upload them → ask the AI to build a component library from what it sees. ✅ Fast setup ⚠️ Won’t capture fine details (fonts, spacing, etc.) Best for early concept testing or simple UIs. 🧩2. Chrome Extension Extraction, More Fidelity Use browser extensions (like Magic Patterns or React HTML Extension) to extract real HTML/CSS from your live product. The AI can then rebuild components that look almost identical to production. ✅ High accuracy ⚠️ Costs more tokens, slower setup Best for teams using frameworks like Tailwind or standard design libraries. 🧠3. Real Production Components, Maximum Accuracy If your team already uses Storybook and GitHub, this one’s gold. Connect your actual frontend repo → isolate UI components → import them into your AI prototyping tool. ✅ Pixel-perfect prototypes ⚠️ Needs engineering support To guide the AI, use a components.md file describing props and usage. It helps AI understand your components instead of guessing. 💡💡💡 My takeaway: Building a good prototype is no longer about what tool you use, it’s about how you feed it context. Start small, level up when it matters, and let your system scale with you. #designsystem #AI #AIprototyping
