🚀🌍 ESC4DRES – Shaping the Energy World of Tomorrow, Together! We are very excited to be part of the newly launched EU research project ESC4DRES – alongside committed partners such as Fraunhofer IISB, Infineon Technologies, and other leading institutions from research and industry. Our goal: Taking the coordination of Distributed Renewable Energy Systems (DRES) to the next level – making them smart, resilient, and future-ready. We’re developing new concepts, technologies, and market mechanisms to efficiently integrate DRES into existing grids and energy markets – a key step toward the successful implementation of the energy transition. ESC4DRES is funded by Horizon Europe and will run until 2027. A key milestone achieved includes successful preliminary testing of sodium-based cells, highlighting promising potential for future energy storage applications. It's always fascinating to see the 32140 cell format side by side with a classic 18650 cell. We are looking forward to engaging with the community and collaborating with an outstanding consortium! Let’s push the boundaries of energy innovation – together. 🔋🌱 #ESC4DRES #EnergyTransition #FraunhoferIISB #Infineon #HorizonEurope #RenewableEnergy #SmartGrid #Research #Innovation #DRES #ProjectLaunch #EUResearch
