Over the last few weeks, as Mayden reached the quarter of a century milestone, I have had plenty of time to reflect on the journey - or voyage - that has brought the company to where it is today. Just scrolling through the last few month's LinkedIn posts is a testament to all the innovation and passion to support patients and clinicians that have been the cornerstone of our journey. And as I step back from the day to day operations, I am particularly grateful for all the people who have joined us on the voyage whether for a short or long period. I have worked with so many amazing people over the years, too numerous to mention them all. But I'm especially grateful to the incredible team of directors who have worked assiduously (I initially typed 'tirelessly' but then realised that wasn't true - they have often worked to the point of exhaustion). Thank you Chris Eldridge, Alison Sturgess-Durden, Fiona Dawson, Rebecca Prestland for all your wise words and incredible hard work over the years. And I step back knowing that the company has been left in the very best of hands with both Reece Donovan and Jamie Gibson not only filling my hole admirably but leaving me wondering how I ever managed to fit in it in the first place. And finally, of course, the guiding hands of Graham Ridgway, and Yasemin Arik and Oliver Hoenich at G Square Healthcare Private Equity LLP. The market is tough right now but I'm confident we have the team in place to help make the next 25 years as successful as the last.
That's a fantastic milestone. You should be very proud, Chris.
Congratulations, Chris on such a great achievement, starting from a when you were one of one when we first met to stepping down from such an excellent company - end of a great voyage!!
Huge congratulations and very proud of you!
Director at Mayden
3moThank you, Chris. Of course none of this would have been possible without your vision, passion for our purpose, leadership and own very hard work!
