Last week, we were honored to welcome Danish Permanent Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Jeppe Tranholm-Mikkelsen, together with Ambassador Michael Starbæk Christensen, Consul General Søren Bindesbøll, and their delegation to our Guangzhou headquarter. This visit, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Denmark, was a powerful testament to our shared commitment to the future. Our discussions were forward-looking, focusing on China’s dynamic consumer landscape, opportunities for sustainable growth, Carlsberg China’s continued efforts to drive innovation and create shared value. We also showcased our sustainability journey – from our MSCI ESG AA rating to the advancement of our Together Towards ZERO and Beyond ambition – reaffirming our dedication to environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices. Carlsberg has been a cornerstone of China's brewing industry for decades. Our leading position is supported by a robust operational footprint of 27 breweries and fueled by the talent and energy of close to 7,000 dedicated colleagues.
