It was a busy week last week, and looks like this week is going to carry on in the same way 😁 Last week we launched our Hydrogen Skills Survey, and it is still open for comment, see link in comments below, and the importance of this was outlined in the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero Clean Energy Jobs plan that was launched over the weekend. Great to see Hydrogen Skills Alliance getting a shout out on our work in the plan. I also spent some time with the The National Network of Institutes of Technology visiting the Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire Institute of Technology and the wonderful Georgina Barnard MSc who showcased the work of her new IoT and declared she was missing her hi-viz ! I was able to share with the network the plans for High Value Manufacturing Catapult Skills teams to work more closely with the IoT network and look forward to moving this forwards. We expect the Post 16 review paper ( being trailed for at least 9 months) to be released 'imminently' so more reading and digesting government documents for me this week...
