Great conversations today at the Universiteit Utrecht Library during the symposium “Authors and Rights in Publishing: Perspectives on Contracts, Licenses, Rights Retention, AI, and TDM” where I had the pleasure to talk about the importance of #TDM for research, the #copyright implications of TDM especially in the context of the EU #AIAct, and Creative Commons’ work on preference signals as a means for people to express their wishes on the use of their works for #AI training.
