Big news! CyberArk has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Palo Alto Networks, the global leader in AI and cybersecurity. This is a major milestone—and an incredible opportunity to bring identity security to more organizations, faster. 🔐 Whoa. A $25B shakeup in cybersecurity. Congrats to CyberArk—and buckle up, CrowdStrike clients. Palo Alto’s acquisition isn’t just a growth play, it’s a strategic pivot: identity is the new perimeter, and PAM is now married to endpoint protection. The cross-sell potential is wild. If you’re already a CyberArk shop, expect Palo Alto to slide their Cortex suite into the conversation… at a discount. 🤖💸 This move could redefine how we secure agentic AI and privilege controls across platforms. Excited, uneasy, and curious all at once. #Cybersecurity #AIsecurity #DigitalIdentity #PAM #EndpointProtection #CrowdStrike #CyberArk #PaloAltoNetworks #TechNews #Infosec #AIethics #StrategicCommunication #LinkedInThoughtLeadership

I don't know how to feel honestly, our relationship with CyberArk has been incredible, I consider it one of the few game-changing tools in my entire career in Fed Space, but being acquired by a largely "firewall" company feels like a Wagon Maker buying Tesla. ICAM/PAM is the future and paired with Zero Trust not sure what it means when a FW company (yes i know they have other tools) acquires their Technological superior. I hope this is beneficial and expect it to be so, but can not deny it fills my heart with a little bit of fear.

OUTSTANDING news to see Palo Alto Networks and CyberArk (and Venafi, a CyberArk Company for that matter) in one powerhouse.
