Location Mapping and Address Management Industry Leader as CEO at GeoDirectory

A day well spent at The Analytics Institute Summit '25 filled with ideas, inspiration, and innovation — with data and AI at the heart of it all. My key takeaways: Tiankai Feng Thoughtworks reminded us of the 5 Cs — Competence, Communication, Creativity, Collaboration, Conscience — a timely reminder that people must be at the centre of every data strategy. EY-Parthenon outlined their 5 keystones for AI implementation: Sponsorship, Governship, Technology, Collaboration, and Change Management — a practical framework for scaling responsibly. Ash Hunt Cyrea explored game theory and AI, illustrating how agents, humans and machines interact in a world of punctuated equilibrium. As data and access converge, decision-making compresses — shifting from gut instinct to guided intelligence. A Godfather of Data Literacy Jordan Morrow, spoke to the importance of data & AI literacy across organisations – built on Pilot & Prove, Champion & Communicate and Measure & Scale. Louise McCormack TrustworthyAI and others reinforced that AI governance must be built on ethics by design, transparency and a balanced approach to bias and accuracy. This event was a strong reminder of Sam Altman’s words: “There are three things to worry about with AI: 1. Bad actors getting there first 2. Loss of control — AI that never turns off 3. Models so deeply embedded that we can’t imagine life without them.” The Summit captured both the potential and the responsibility that come with advancing AI. It also brought to mind Thomas Sowell’s timeless observation: “There are no solutions without trade-offs.” We’re moving toward a future where humans and AI work together — one where leadership, ethics, and human insight will matter more than ever.
