🌊 EcoDaLLi Panel on Preserving Durmitor & River Tara On 3rd October the panel “𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗮” was held in Žabljak, Montenegro. The panel was organised within the EcoDaLLi Project by 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝘇𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝘇𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗲 and the event gathered key national and international stakeholders to address: 🔹 Anthropogenic impacts on the Tara River (part of the Danube basin) 🔹 Communication and governance challenges 🔹 Budgetary and field constraints affecting preservation efforts Our Project Partner University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture presented the EcoDaLLi Project to the audience. Additionally, our sister project SWIM took part at the panel showcasing its goals and addressed challenges, and pilot sites as opening doors for cross-border collaboration. Collaboration is key! Preserving these natural treasures starts with shared action and commitment.
