I’m honestly gutted to see the cancellation of one of the largest solar projects in the U.S. — a project that could have powered nearly two million homes and accelerated our transition to clean energy. This isn’t just about one development being scrapped — it’s about the message it sends. Pulling the plug on bold renewable projects at this scale slows economic progress, undermines investor confidence, and stalls the momentum we’ve been building toward a sustainable energy future. https://lnkd.in/gvMSR7pt

More American homes and businesses are getting their power from renewable sources than ever before — and in greater amounts. In June, almost one-quarter of U.S. power generation was green, up from 18% in the year-earlier period.

All-Energy Australia 2025 showcased the country’s accelerating clean energy transition, with the Cheaper Home Batteries program leading the charge—over 100,000 residential systems were installed in just four months. The event saw record participation, with 460+ exhibitors and a 30% increase in floor space, reflecting strong industry momentum and public interest. On the utility-scale front, Australia’s 150 GW solar pipeline is gaining traction, especially in solar-plus-storage projects, as the nation targets 82% renewable electricity by 2030. With coal closures looming and battery adoption surging, the next year could be pivotal. It’s inspiring to see how bold policy and innovation are reshaping Australia’s energy future—now it’s about turning that momentum into long-term, bankable outcomes. https://lnkd.in/gysaUA_z

🌞 UK Gives Go-Ahead to Giant Solar Project in Lincolnshire! The UK government has officially approved the Tillbridge Solar Farm in Lincolnshire, set to be one of the largest solar projects in the country. Once complete, it’s expected to generate enough clean electricity to power around 300,000 homes. Projects like this show just how serious the UK is about expanding renewable capacity and delivering on its net-zero goals. Beyond the environmental impact, large-scale solar developments like Tillbridge also bring wider economic benefits from new infrastructure to job creation and regional growth. It’s great to see continued momentum in the renewable energy sector, and this approval is another clear sign that solar has a huge role to play in shaping a cleaner, more sustainable future ☀️⚡ If your business is taking on new green projects or already part of the renewable push, let’s connect! Australia just hit 78.6% renewable energy in its National Electricity Market, a new record. On September 22, 2025, nearly four-fifths of Australia’s electricity came from renewable sources, primarily solar and wind. This milestone is more than just a statistic. It’s a signal of how fast the energy landscape is evolving. A decade ago, such numbers were seen as future goals. Today, they’re becoming everyday reality. Solar rooftops, utility-scale farms, and smarter grid management have turned Australia into a global benchmark for renewable integration. Can other nations follow this pace, not just in generation, but in storage, transmission, and grid stability? The race toward sustainable power isn’t just about producing green electrons it’s about building the infrastructure that can sustain them. #RenewableEnergy #SolarPower #WindEnergy #Sustainability #EnergyTransition #Australia #DataCenterEnergy #GreenInfrastructure

The EU's revised Electricity Market Design is quite significant for the energy transition, and goes beyond a focus on renewable generation to a more sophisticated, flexible, and decentralized grid. This should boost the empowerment of the consumer, who’s now positioned as an ‘active customer’ with the ability to participate in and benefit from energy sharing and demand response. By mandating grid flexibility and creating new revenue streams for storage and demand-side management, the EU is tackling the intermittency of renewables head-on. This market reform is a clear-eyed acknowledgment that a decentralized, renewable-powered grid requires a new set of rules. It’s a bold and necessary step that will accelerate the transition to a cleaner, more resilient, and more democratic energy system, offering a model for other regions to follow.
