🥦 Feeding the future means producing food without fuelling the climate crisis. Take Root Bio Technologies Ltd is building modular, closed-loop agrifood ecosystems - from aquaponics and fungi to dwarf trees and precision farming - designed for both urban rooftops and even extraterrestrial habitats🛰️🌌 But with these complex systems come equally complex emissions: fluctuating CO₂, CH₄, and carbon fluxes that can’t be captured by static dashboards. That's why there are looking for AI-powered solutions that can: 🔹 Integrate real-time sensor data with Earth observation inputs 🔹 Track and distinguish local emissions from broader atmospheric shifts 🔹 Predict carbon fluxes with ≥85% confidence 🔹 Optimise conditions for diverse crops while lowering emissions 🔹 Deliver compliant, real-time GHG reports ready for climate finance and MRV The mission: build a modular, secure, and intelligent emissions monitoring system that turns agrifood ecosystems into climate-positive infrastructure, empowering sustainable growth on Earth and beyond. 🚀 This is just one of the challenges in AI Challenge 2025, where Europe’s brightest startups tackle real-world problems.
