EURATOM METIS: Final events and achievements

🎉 What a week for EURATOM METIS! The project hosted its final events to conclude and celebrate the fantastic work, collaboration, and achievements that have taken place over the last five years. 🚀 Here’s a recap: • On Wednesday, the METIS Final Symposium took place where researchers, young professionals, industry gathered to dive deep into seismic hazard assessment, ground motion for engineering, and risk analysis in the context of nuclear installations and more from experts including consortium members and guest speakers. • On Thursday, the METIS Final plenary took place where the final project updates, latest research, and achievements were presented by consortium partners sharing their latest updates, research, and • Yesterday, consortium partners took a trip to Flamanville NPP for a site visit to discover the two Flamanville reactors as well as the EPR for a truly inspiring day! The METIS project focuses on research in seismic nuclear safety, specifically to develop and improve tools and methodologies employed in seismic safety assessments of nuclear reactors and translate this research into practice for industry use. 👏 Thank you to all those who attended and made this week so memorable, stay tuned, we have more to come!
