🚀 Two years of the ESIC Project (2023–2027)! We’re excited to share the progress of our extensive social innovation education research, based on a large dataset collected across Europe. 📚 From over 36,000 academic papers, we carefully selected 154 for an in-depth analysis, leading to the creation of a social innovation competency framework. 🎤 We’ve also conducted 69 interviews and 34 focus groups across nine countries, involving nearly 300 stakeholders— from entrepreneurs and policymakers to educators and funders — to explore effective pedagogies and stakeholder roles. 📝 Ongoing: a survey for practitioners, teachers, and students, designed to reveal gaps in expectations about the key competencies for social innovation.
