17hVery relevant option in placing agriculture and food security at the center of negotiations. Climate change effects keep on affecting food security and agriculture, particularly in West Africa and the Sahel where, according to the latest CH, the number of people experiencing acute food insecurity increased from 10.7 millions in 2020 to 38.1 millions in march 2024. Food insecurity rates have worsened considerably.
