European robotics is having its moment. Over €1B has already flowed into 84 robotics deals this year, putting 2025 on track to break the 2021 record. The shift is clear: VCs are moving from pure software bets to real-world hardware innovation. And what’s fueling it? The fusion of AI + robotics. AI is no longer the story; it’s the backbone of deep tech. During Georgia AIM Week, the future of manufacturing came to life through a few robotic friends (and a little help from our team). 🤖 Did you see Nova, the RICE Georgia AIM Mobile Studio’s robot dog? How about the UGA Manufacturing Living Labs' robot dog (complete with Uga gear!) and humanoid robot? These demos showed how technology and teamwork go hand in hand.
