This is a great opportunity to take advantage of these AWS issues. What if we had a hybrid model for our solutions? What if we combined the best of on-premise and cloud services? What if we moved our core business operations to a temporary/on-premise infrastructure? That would be a game changer. An autonomous solution that works independently of any cloud provider—using, for example, agents to deploy or migrate your solution to another provider, or even an on-premise setup to keep our business and solutions running. I still remember when "the cloud" promised us high availability with minimal effort. Now I see a bunch of people saying that multi-AZ and multi-region and multi-cloud is hard to implement. So which one is it? And if it's the latter, what's even the point of being in the cloud instead of on-prem? If quick scale-up and scale-down is the only reason left, well guess what: Most businesses have pretty stable workloads.
