What a start! My first visit to our K+S Gruppe Bethune production site in 🇨🇦 together with Dr. Christian H. Meyer started with the most important topic: Not efficiency or effectiveness but Safety! Once a year our colleagues around Sam Farris hold their safety day together with stakeholders on site as well as suppliers. ❤️ I took the opportunity to address the participants with the messages why safety is so close to my heart eversince I started my career decades ago in industry. „What really counts is that everyone can go home after work as healthy as she or he arrived.“ In light 💡 of that target it was impressive to learn throughout the discussions not only what has been done to get closer and closer to the vision of „zero accidents“ but also the impressively low level of LTIs at the site. Congratulations to all the team …and keep on going and improving!

Solid truth - nothing can beat safety! Hereby imperative: a strong tone from the top! Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations, safety is the foundation of a successful workplace. It's great to see teams prioritizing health and well-being; that is what makes the difference.

A powerful reminder that true leadership starts with safety. Before performance or productivity, it’s about responsibility to people, to trust, to every single life on site. The vision of “zero accidents” isn’t a slogan, it’s a culture built every day through awareness, care, and continuous improvement. Respect to the Bethune team for turning this principle into practice. #SafetyFirst #Leadership #Culture
