I attended the forum held in Gyeongju this past Monday. During the First Industrial Revolution, the labor-intensive textile industry in 18th-century Britain dramatically increased productivity and efficiency through mechanization and technological innovation, fundamentally transforming industrial structures and labor conditions. In a similar vein, regarding the perennial labor challenges in the shipbuilding industry, HD Hyundai is pursuing a transformative shift across ship design, production, and operations by leveraging AI, digital twins, smart shipyards, and data-driven platforms. I felt that the company presented one of the most exemplary cases of labor innovation, potentially even surpassing the impact of the First Industrial Revolution.
Hi I'm Seonggu.
