Remember when the browser was just… a browser? Those days are gone. It’s now the workspace — where we collaborate, code, and connect to everything. That’s why “enterprise browsers” promise so much: full control, visibility, and security. But in reality, they often add friction, slow performance, and integration headaches. Most teams end up managing two browsers per user. At Conceal, we think there’s a smarter way. Instead of replacing the browser, secure the one your users already love. Steve Salinas dives into why enterprise browsers fall short — and how Browser-Native SSE changes the game. 👉 Check out the full blog here: https://lnkd.in/eeVMkSeS

🔷 For many Mac users, optimizing their daily workflow involves more than just software choices; it extends to foundational settings like the default web browser. While Safari is integrated, customizability allows users to align their experience with their unique professional needs and preferences. This simple adjustment — switching default browsers — can significantly enhance productivity, particularly for those who rely on specific browser-dependent extensions, developer tools, or privacy features offered by alternatives like Chrome or Firefox. From an industry perspective, enabling users to easily switch browsers underscores a commitment to user autonomy and optimized performance. Businesses and individual professionals alike can benefit from tailoring their browsing environment, whether for better compatibility with critical web applications or for enhanced security protocols provided by non-default options. This small change contributes to a more efficient and personalized computing experience, ultimately boosting overall user satisfaction and operational fluency. #MacTips, #TechTutorial, #BrowserChange, #MacOS

Think you’ve got disconnected apps under control? Social media, finance, and on-prem tools without SAML or SCIM can’t plug into your identity stack, leaving users to manage passwords, MFA settings, and account lifecycles on their own. The result: hidden risks, manual work, and zero visibility for IT. Our new guide, Comparing Different Ways to Secure Disconnected Applications, breaks down common approaches and what’s really needed to secure these apps at scale. 👉 Download the guide: https://lnkd.in/gXZt-nGx

Microsoft plans to retire basic authentication for SMTP (username/password) by April 30, 2026, with blocking starting from March 1, 2026. What’s changing: • Basic auth will be fully disabled • Devices or apps still using it will fail with “550 5.7.30 Basic authentication is not supported” • App passwords and legacy methods will stop working What to do: • Move to OAuth 2.0 (Modern Auth) • For older devices (like printers), consider: – SMTP Relay – Direct Send – OAuth-capable SMTP gateway Has your organization already made the move, or are you planning it soon? I’d be interested to hear what solutions others are using for printers and service accounts.

💡 Exploring Windhawk – The Windows Customization Powerhouse If you’ve ever wished Windows offered more control over its interface — from the taskbar height to the Start menu layout — Windhawk is worth a look. Unlike most tweak tools, Windhawk isn’t just a one-size-fits-all utility. It’s a customization platform where you can browse, install, or even build your own mods to modify Windows behavior safely and flexibly. 🧩 Key highlights: Modular “mod marketplace” for tweaks. Lightweight and open-source. Lets you customize UI elements, system behavior, and app interactions. Community-driven with transparent code for every tweak. It’s a great example of how open-source projects can make Windows more personal and efficient without compromising stability. 👉 Check it out here: https://windhawk.net
