I’ve made my peace with it — I’m a backstage person. And yesterday, that felt exactly right. Semrush Spotlight was huge for us — the launch of Semrush One, months of work coming to life, hundreds of people in the room, and even more watching online. And while I wasn’t on stage, I couldn’t be prouder to have been behind it — writing, coaching, prepping, and supporting people who brought our story to life. Because that’s where I shine — on the backstage. Yesterday, I saw over 20 people doing the same — running lights, cues, recordings, and every tiny detail that made this event magic. Were they happy? Absolutely. Because making something great happen doesn’t always mean holding the mic.
