Hybrid Working: When it comes to hybrid working, a blend of remote and onsite sparks questions: - Do in-office employees hold more decision-making power compared to remote participants? - Does physical presence equate to higher commitment levels? - Are in-office staff more focused during work hours? On the flip side: - Are remote workers better suited for flexible meeting times? - Do remote workers adjust their work hours to align with business demands beyond the traditional 9-5? Theres truth in both. I think In Office Team Days help bring in contributions from everyone, which can help solve or avoid complex project issues. Working remotely - a slightly longer lunch balanced with working in the evening when you can focus on that tricky task or that late meeting with a global team.

1moFor me hybrid working has enhanced my capability and capacity - I’m able to work on site most of the time (by choice) as I find it helps me build relationships, be more productive for collaborative tasks, and is a necessity for some more strategic meetings that just don’t ‘feel the same’ on a call. Equally, I’m able to work around the inevitable commitments of being a mum, touch base with my international colleagues at times that suit us all, and get to appointments I’d probably otherwise just put off booking entirely. I think that feels like a win-win balance for me and the business to be honest!
