We are paying too much attention and amplifying the noise. Cold Play, Sydney Sweeny, South Park, Zuckerberg (Meta) vs. Altman (Open AI) Matrix Style We are not paying attention to what the AI tech is doing, but rather defining and shaping what the future we want to make. 2️⃣ Prediction/question – would some of the creative process be done by AI? Would the brief, or a campaign, be done by AI in little time? Marketers could come to the Meta platform, define the goals and outcomes, and the platform would do the rest. The question is: are we comfortable with this? What is human? What is the human creative experience that is going to attract and keep customers? Connection, community, and humanity. 3️⃣ Many people say they want to have their own agents… a differentiator is not just the human experience; it is the trust. Individual agents have “provider-bias,” they give convenience for presumed inconvenient tasks (h/t Callie Threadhgill) 4️⃣ How machine customers begin to rise and interact with your brand. Your next customer doesn’t have emotions. They don’t care about your brand story. They’ll never feel loyalty the way humans do. Your next customer may be an algorithm. – Katja Forbes in her new book "Machine Customers: The Evolution has Begun" 5️⃣ The Human experience will potentially become the new luxury. Are we heading down the path of human-to-human experiences only available to the people who can afford them? 6️⃣ What advice would you give leaders to distinguish signal vs. noise? Roger: How do we care for one another? How do we come together? We need to believe in the human commodity of TRUST. Nish: High level of excitement and state of persistent flow. AI is middleware for the imagination. Encourage everyone of us, learn these tools, learn how to use them effectively. AI is like an exoskeleton for us. We have to apply our imagination, our creativity to these tools. We need to bring others along for the ride. Start having the conversations with your team, with your leadership, to create a much better tomorrow. We cannot outsource our responsibilities that define the future. Let's leverage our creativity.
