Back to school was a real bust. Accidentally sporting a Ritual tee that read "for the real body builders" while standing with my three young elementary school kids, preparing a nutritious lunch that went uneaten, providing them with fancy water bottles that mysteriously disappeared, and rushing to pick up one child due to a butterfly in stomach incident after just 15 minutes that school started. In hindsight, it was a valuable lesson in the juggling act of handling numerous unpredictable situations that can quickly spiral out of one's grasp. A reminder that sometimes, despite our best efforts, chaos has a way of asserting its presence beyond our control. And it’s how we move on the next day with resilience, looking at the big picture that results in something really wonderful.
This picture is such a great reminder that beauty of life is actually in a balance - you can run a business, but still be present for the family. Is it difficult - yes! But absolutely possible 🙂
As a father of 3 little girls as well (+2 older teenage boys), I can relate 100%. It’s our job to try and instill the right values especially when it comes to nutrition and wellness because we are fighting against so much. If you are realistic, caring and sincere, it sticks with them!
As a mom to two boys, I feel like this is my life every day (the chaos 😅). It’s also great to hear that kids still don’t eat their nutritious lunch once they go to school 🤣
Beautiful family!
You have a beautiful family!
I love this and in particular that two of your girls have Vans on!! Keep killing it Kat!!!
Felt this. Also, that "body-builders" line is still one of my favorites of all time. Need that tee!
I love this message so much, SO SO true.
Katerina Markov Schneider, parenting chaos meets entrepreneurship reality check. Reminds me of a DTC client whose perfectly-planned holiday campaign got derailed when their logistics partner had a system meltdown. Their response? Pivot fast, embrace the chaos in messaging, and actually see conversion rates climb 22%.

1moThanks for keeping it real. We parents need the reminder that perfection is a myth and chaos is beautiful :)
