Tracking changes to standards across 50 states is a big challenge. Knowledge Graph enables Carnegie Learning to seamlessly integrate up-to-date state standards and skills into its learning platform. “We’re excited about the opportunity to leverage AI and the Knowledge Graph Initiative to connect math skills and standards across educational software and curricula. By mapping these skills, we can accelerate innovation and create more coherent and effective learning experiences for students and their teachers.” Dr. Steve Ritter, Carnegie Learning, Chief Scientist and Co-Founder

💗 Teaching Math with Purpose — This Week, Awareness Met AI! 🎗️ 🎯 Turning Math Revision into an AI-Powered Experience! This week, I decided to give my students a different kind of math revision—one powered by AI and purpose. Instead of handing out the usual paper sheet, I uploaded it to Curibod.com and transformed it into an interactive digital session. Students scanned a QR code, joined from their devices, and started answering questions live. And that’s when the magic happened 💡 ✨ They discussed and defended their answers 📊 I tracked their progress in real time ❌ We revisited deleted answers to understand misconceptions 💬 Every student participated—no one was left behind But this week’s session wasn’t just about math. I chose a breast cancer awareness theme as the background to remind students that education can raise awareness, too. Even during a calculus review, we can take a moment to reflect, support, and spread awareness. 💖🎗️ AI didn’t replace teaching—it amplified engagement and added meaning. It turned a regular review into a dynamic, gamified learning experience—and a chance to remind students of something bigger than the lesson itself. This is the kind of classroom I believe in: 🔹 Interactive. 🔹 Insightful. 🔹 Impactful. Because great teaching doesn’t just build minds—it touches hearts. 💫 #AIinEducation #InteractiveTeaching #DigitalClassroom #EdTech #MathMadeSimple #Curibod #AmiraTeaches #TeachingWithTech #StudentVoice #MathIsFun #BreastCancerAwareness #TeachWithPurpose

Excited to share this Bloomberg News story featuring Kira and the incredible work happening in Lance Key’s classroom in Tennessee. This piece shows how AI is already making a real difference in education: helping teachers personalize instruction, save time on grading and planning, and create more engaging learning experiences for students. At Kira, we believe the power of AI in schools lies in empowering teachers to do what they do best: inspire, guide, and connect. Grateful to Bloomberg for spotlighting this story and to the many teachers across the country using Kira to shape the future of learning.

I had the opportunity to attend “Gen AI Tools for the K–12 Classroom” at the University of Calgary Werklund School of Education tonight, and left feeling both inspired and grounded. What stood out most was the reminder that even as AI tools evolve rapidly, the heart of education remains human. Designing learning experiences through a human-centered lens means keeping empathy, curiosity, and authentic connection at the forefront, and letting technology support (not replace) those values. It’s exciting to see educators reimagining what teaching and learning can look like in the AI era, thoughtfully, ethically, and creatively.

I just turned my calculus textbook into a 10-minute video that explains derivatives. Here’s the crazy part: I’m just a broke college student who got tired of failing math. But let me be brutally honest — traditional learning is fundamentally broken. We’re still using 200-year-old methods (lectures + textbooks) to teach concepts that could be visualized, animated, and understood in minutes instead of months. So I did what any frustrated student would do: I built my own AI system. Here’s how it works: → I feed my course materials into the AI → I ask it to explain parts I’m struggling with → It generates visual explanations and animations → Creates a complete video breakdown → Delivers it in my learning style The results? My last calculus exam: 94%. Previous attempts without this system: 67%, 71%, 69%. Now, full disclosure — the demo I’ve built isn’t perfect yet. It doesn’t explain everything flawlessly, and there’s still a lot of polishing to do. But it shows the potential. This isn’t just about me passing math anymore. I’m realizing I’ve stumbled onto something that could help millions of students who learn visually but are stuck in text-heavy educational systems. Right now, it only works for math. But imagine if every complex subject could be transformed into engaging, personalized video content in seconds. The future of education isn’t just in classrooms. It’s in AI that adapts to how YOUR brain actually learns. What subject do you wish you could learn through video instead of traditional methods? Drop a comment — your input could shape the next project. And if you want to be part of this AI education revolution, shoot me a DM. #AI #Education #Mathematics #StudentLife #Innovation #EdTech

🦌 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜! ✨ What happens when you mix math, moose, and a little AI magic? You get Maurice the Math Moose 🦌, my newest experiment in making learning FUN, visual, and accessible for every student 💡 As educators, we talk a lot about AI in the classroom, but it’s not just about technology. It’s about inspiration and engagement. Maurice is a friendly AI-created educational character designed to make math concepts stick. In his latest mini lesson, he explains the bell curve...not with equations but with curiosity, humor, and a touch of data visualizing AI. 🎥📊 When kids see math come alive with storytelling, color, and personality, their mindset shifts from... “I can’t do this” ➡️ “Hey that’s actually cool!” AI isn’t here to replace teachers. It’s here to amplify creativity, confidence, and curiosity, helping students see that math and learning itself can be moosemazing! 🦌💙 If you’re passionate about making learning more engaging with AI or exploring creative educational projects, I’d love to collaborate and share ideas. #AIinEducation #MathEducation #EdTech #FutureOfLearning #InnovationInEducation #CreativeTeaching #DigitalLearning #AIforGood #CharterSchools #EducationInnovation

It's interesting to consider that schools are discussing how to prompt AI before teaching fundamental life skills. While programming AI holds future value, some basic skills—goal-setting, emotional intelligence, and financial literacy—are still missing from core curricula. Perhaps focusing on these foundations first would better equip students for a well-rounded future. What core skills do you think are most essential for schools to prioritize? #Education #AISkills #LifeSkills #FutureofLearning #EmotionalIntelligence
