IPCEI-CIS Reference Architecture Version 1.0 released – A major step towards Europe’s federated Cloud-Edge Ecosystem 📘 The release of Version 1.0 of the IPCEI-CIS Reference Architecture marks an important step toward the 8ra Initiative’s goal of a federated Multi-Provider Cloud-Edge Continuum. Serving as a conceptual guideline, the architecture outlines a modular, interoperable framework to support future cloud-edge deployments across Europe. It offers shared terminology and structure for over 100 partners in 12 EU member states – and sets the stage for ongoing development.
