Lately, I’ve been thinking about time—how easily it slips away between meetings, emails, and endless to-do lists. Most of us chase more of it, but few stop to ask: what if the time we need is already hidden in the way we work? At the University of South Carolina, they found an answer. By embracing Microsoft 365 Copilot, professors, students, and staff began reclaiming hours each week—not through hustle, but through clarity. What once took five steps now takes one. What once felt draining now feels doable. But this isn’t just about productivity. It’s about trust. USC didn’t force AI into people’s hands; they invited curiosity, built safety, and let innovation grow from within. In the end, AI didn’t replace their work—it revealed its rhythm. I am thrilled to share my recent experience in architecting a framework designed to assist customers in identifying AI use cases that transform their business. Having undergone training from industry experts like Brian Moore, Mike Richter, MBA, MCSD, and Melody Yin, I was part of the "AI Discovery Card Workshop" training program, originally developed in Microsoft Germany. In June this year, I attended this workshop at the MS New York office. The intensive 4-hour session culminated in my commitment to automating the entire workshop. Today marks the launch of AVAIgnite, the innovative framework that automates the "AI Discovery Card Workshop." This advancement aims to streamline and enhance the customer experience by simplifying the process of identifying AI use cases efficiently. My goal is that customers will walk out with a comprehensive Statement of Work (SOW) at the end of 4 hours workshop's. This SOW will outline the AI usecase, Azure operational costs, potential MCI funding opportunities, as well as implementation costs and timelines. I'm really impressed with the evolution of #Copilot in #PowerBI, especially with the recent September 2025 update! 💡A few highlights I found interesting: - #Copilot now opens in a clean, full-screen experience by default, which enhances the user experience. - It can auto-assign your workspace, saving those tiny but annoying setup steps. - You can now save #Copilot explorations in Pro workspaces too - not just Premium. - #Copilot has improved search relevance and integrates with Microsoft 365 search, allowing users to discover Power BI reports seamlessly. I'm particularly looking forward to the upcoming "Prep Data for AI" option, which will facilitate preparing datasets for #Copilot directly within the Power BI service.
