⚡ Strong partnerships, strong investment – powering the UK’s sustainable future. 🌍 Today, I had the pleasure of joining my E.ON UK colleagues at the 1st Regional Investment Summit hosted by the UK Government and the Mayor of the West Midlands, Richard Parker. The strong presence of senior UK Government officials including the Secretary of State for Energy, Ed Miliband, the Secretary for Business & Trade, Peter Kyle and in particular the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt Hon Rachel Reeves, clearly showed the UK’s commitment to strong economic growth and a low-carbon transition. At E.ON, we know the future of energy must strike the right balance – between sustainability, affordability and security of supply. That’s why we’re partnering with cities, businesses and communities to deliver low-carbon infrastructure that drives growth and resilience - in 🇬🇧, but also throughout 🇪🇺! And E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions is ready to continue investing strongly in the UK to help unlock its full potential for a sustainable future. 🌱 (My personal highlight today😉?
