All of us work across different offices, so getting together as a team in-person is important. It gives us a chance to reflect, learn, plan, and more importantly socialise outside of the day-to-day stuff. A huge thank you to Emily B. for both planning and hosting us this week. We have rounded off the week with a couple of contract award 🍾 These results couldn’t be more timely, especially as we were reflecting how many outcomes are outstanding. I had the pleasure this week of hosting my team in Mott MacDonald’s new Manchester office 🏙️🐝 We packed a lot in over 2 days, with project updates, Q4 planning, resourcing, and some great conversations about how we can keep improving the way we work. Getting in a room together always brings a new level of focus and collaboration to our team planning. We also took the classic escape room social to the streets with a team building mission from Escape Hunt 🕵️♀️ Running around Manchester’s landmarks was a fun change of pace that got everyone thinking on their feet.
