We’re proud to share the latest research from Ilias Abdouni, PhD researcher at Universite de Lorraine and member of the #MODAPTO_eu team, presented at the 15th IFAC Workshop on Intelligent Manufacturing Systems. His work explores how Federated Learning (FL) can support predictive maintenance in modular and reconfigurable manufacturing systems—tackling real-world challenges such as data privacy, few-shot learning, and variability across production environments. 📄 Paper: Federated Learning for Remaining Useful Life Prediction: A Literature Review 🏭 Applied in real industrial settings, including our pilot site at SEW USOCOME.
