In an address to the nation today, Kazakhstan's President Tokayev announced the planned creation of a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development. Among other goals, the Ministry will lead the national AI strategy, coordinate the integration of AI into education and the private sector, support AI adoption and innovation, and regulate its use. Ghana and Africa at large must build AI that understands our context. Our languages. Our markets. Our struggles.
