We maxed out n8n. Here's when it broke. 💥 In this video, we stress tested n8n on two AWS instance types: C5.large and C5.4xlarge, using both Single mode and Queue mode architectures. We ran three critical benchmarking scenarios: → Single Webhook: one flow triggered repeatedly → Multi Webhook: 10 workflows triggered in parallel → Binary Data: large file uploads and processing Key takeaways: Queue mode consistently outperforms Single mode Bigger AWS instances (C5.4xlarge) deliver 2–10x better performance Binary data workflows push n8n to its limits Watch it here and let us know what you think! ▶️ https://buff.ly/g7xJUQA Whether you're a solo developer or running an enterprise automation platform, this benchmark shows exactly how far n8n can go. Want to test your own setup? I think this is one of the lesser features of n8n. This is one of the easiest way to test how far you can scale and stretch your n8n for production grade workflows or systems.. Before saying n8n doesn't scale enough or to your liking, you can start by testing if your setup can manage or handle your use cases
Thanks for sharing! Will apply to my own operations.
I have it running on a proxmox instance with a similar config to the c5large footprint. I'm excited to try out this benchmarking on it to see how it does with my production flows. Thanks for this!
good stuff, exactly what I was looking for … thanks
n8n is not coming slow 🔥 🥶
