I make bets on myself all the time to see how far I can push, learn and grow. 🍀 Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But this time, it did. Over the past few months, I have had the opportunity to intern at Graduated, a fast-growing EdTech startup helping graduates launch their careers and connect with forward thinking employers. Graduated is not just another job board. It is a community powered ecosystem where students build confidence, skills and purpose while connecting with companies that value culture and potential. As a Software Engineering Intern, I have been solving real problems that impact how students prepare for and navigate the job market. I worked with Clarice, Aman and Jun to build two MVPs, GradStack and MockMate, reimagining how early career talent and employers connect. GradStack transforms the platform into an AI-driven career hub where students can apply for high match roles, learn, connect with peers and get feedback, while recruiters gain smart dashboards, network with talent and hire faster. I focused on MockMate, an AI-powered interview prep tool that helps students practice smarter, not harder, through question generation, personalised feedback and progress tracking. It bridges the gap between underprepared candidates and overwhelmed recruiters. It has been an incredible journey of building and experimenting. A sincere thanks to Natalia Tapia, Graduated’s incredible founder, for her vision and guidance. Presenting our work together at the RecordPoint office was a proud team milestone and the perfect way to close this chapter. All in all, life really is the greatest classroom we will ever have access to and I am excited for what is next!!
