NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) hosted presentations by Mr Joe Spegele from the National Security Space Institute (NSSI) – the premier continuing #space professional education establishment of the U.S. Department of War and U.S. Space Force.    The presentations focused on a range of topics from ground stations, #satellites, #electromagnetic links and Allied military and commercial capabilities supporting operations to space domain threats and counterspace.   The JWC plays a significant role in advancing #NATO’s space domain at the operational level in support of accelerating the integration of space into our planning, exercises and #multidomain operations.   “Space is a dynamic and rapidly evolving area, which is essential to the Alliance’s deterrence and defence,” said Mr. Spegele, adding: “Foundational understanding of the operational space domain is critical and enables Allies and NATO to respond to crises with greater speed, effectiveness and precision.” #WeAreNATO #TraintoWin #StrongerTogether #steadfastduel25 United States Department of War NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) NATO - Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE)

On day two of AUSA, @Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control signed a Memorandum of Understanding with @Diehl Defence to explore opportunities for collaboration on the PAC-3 MSE program.    By partnering with an industry leader like Diehl, we can combine our expertise to deliver a faster, more resilient air and missile defense capability for America, our allies and NATO partners.     This collaboration strengthens a resilient defence ecosystem, supports America’s industrial base, and reinforces a safer, more secure transatlantic alliance. 

The European project MaJor (Maintenance, Joining, and Repair innovation in multidomain defence) has officially kicked off 📣 The European Union’s autonomy is being challenged daily across all defence domains. The range of threats facing the #EU is broadening, with direct implications for Europe’s military capability. MaJor, funded by the European Defence Fund (#EDF) under the indirect management of the European Defence Agency (#EDA) will address strategic concerns by developing advanced technologies destined to increase the durability of future platform designs from the air, land and sea domain. Coordinated by Royal NLR, with a total of 38 entities covering ten member states, the #MaJor project will help build a cross-border defence network.
