New York State Police’s Post

The New York State Police will be hosting a special informative event for local students to meet and learn from forensic scientists and other professionals from the New York State Police (NYSP) Crime Laboratory System (CLS) with sessions exploring different disciplines of forensic science. Sessions are free and open to the public. The lecture content is designed for high school and college students. No pre-registration required. After each lecture session, students will have the opportunity to meet with forensic scientist mentors to answer any questions and for a more personal and in- depth look into the mentors’ own experiences. Students can apply this knowledge to their own academic and professional paths while also networking with students and faculty from other academic institutions.
