🌊🤖 NextGeo and IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi - part of the FINCANTIERI Group - join forces to drive offshore innovation! We are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IDS, a Fincantieri Group company, to collaborate on the development and operational deployment of uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs). Together with IDS, we will focus on the operational use of USVs. Specifically, through the SAND-16 system, we will carry out pilot projects, technical trials, and real-world operational missions. Meanwhile, with SAND-10 - a new USV currently being developed by IDS and Fincantieri - we will conduct a feasibility study to assess its suitability for marine inspections, environmental monitoring, and other offshore survey applications.
