If that includes AI, great. AI provides a unique set of tools that enable sellers to do things they could not do without it. And honestly, I don’t think there’s a single answer — it depends a lot on the type of sale we’re talking about. In simpler or transactional sales, especially in B2C, AI is absolutely changing the game. We already see it: chatbots, automated recommendations, instant responses, virtual assistants… In these cases, AI doesn’t just save time, it directly replaces part of the process. And it will likely continue to do so, because the value here is in speed and efficiency. But in consultative sales, especially in #B2B, the story is very different. It’s not about answering quickly or offering the same standard solution. It’s about truly understanding the client’s context, their needs, their business, and co-creating a solution that delivers real value. And here, AI doesn’t replace, AI #enhances. The real challenge for both #SalesEnablement and #GoToMarket strategies isn’t to “use AI just for the sake of it,” but to understand where it actually adds value: - Smarter lead qualification. - Faster access to information. - Quicker content personalization. - Better follow-up. - Easier research and preparation. - Stronger knowledge reinforcement to keep teams sharp. But I also see a big risk: forgetting the #human side. Because at the end of the day, in B2B, business is closed between #people, not algorithms. It’s not sales versus AI. It’s sales + AI. Once onboard, your AI needs context: where it fits, who it supports, and how it collaborates. Rethink workflows so humans and AI complement each other. When every member human or machine knows their role, the whole system accelerates. AI isn’t a magic wand. It’s a teammate: powerful, but only when onboarded with purpose.
