How are #neoclouds structurally positioned to outperform #hyperscalers in #AI infrastructure delivery? With enterprises citing pain points with hyperscaler deployments, they are seeking more localized #cloud solutions. ABI Research's latest report from Leo Gergs provides a comparative analysis of scale, ecosystem differentiation, and financial resilience across leading neocloud providers. It also offers deep insight into how neoclouds embed within hyperscaler ecosystems, while enabling sovereign and latency-sensitive enterprise workloads. Key companies mentioned: Civo, CoreWeave, Crusoe, Lambda, Nebius, and Vultr. Download the report today in the comments below!

Never too early for predictions… so here’s mine for 2026: The keyword in enterprise generative AI will be HYBRID. Here’s why: 1. No single cloud, no single model. Customers aren’t standardizing. By default, enterprises need a strategy that adapts to multiple clouds and models as the space evolves. 2. On-prem. More organizations are running workloads locally—not just for control, sovereignty or cost, but to build and fine-tune dedicated models. As enterprises mature, they’re distilling large language models into small, industry-specific ones. That becomes their moat. Cloud is still growing fast, but the future isn’t “all cloud” or “all local.” It’s the messy middle: hybrid architectures, hybrid strategies, hybrid models. That’s where the competitive advantage will live in 2026. Who’s with me on this?

From Scale to Presence Cloud no longer wins by simply getting bigger. The next axis of competitive advantage will be presence density — how close cloud benefits can be delivered to where people and data actually live. As nations and societies around the world pursue their competitive advantage toward the AI era, the real question is no longer about the capacity or efficiency of the cloud — it is about the capacity and efficiency of those nations and societies themselves. This shift gives rise to a new architectural layer in cloud infrastructure — the presence layer. It is composed of distributed Points of Presence (PoPs), positioned closer to where people and data actually live, linked to the cloud core through high-bandwidth, low-latency interconnections. Its role is to extend the reach of cloud benefits into the daily environments of nations, industries, and communities. #Please share this post if you like it.
