Humanitarian action and policy.

People living in fragile and conflict-affected places are some of the most vulnerable to climate and other shocks, yet they don’t receive anywhere near the support they need. From agencies and NGOs to donors and climate funds, it’s true that there are risks to working in these settings — but the risks of not being there are far greater. I was interviewed for the #DynamicDrylands podcast about our research for SPARC Ideas on why the international climate community finds it so hard to fund and work in conflict-affected places, and what approaches might hold promise. 🎧 You can listen to the episode here: https://lnkd.in/eBjmgt5a 🔗 Or read the transcript here: https://lnkd.in/eXJGurtK
