Good job as ever 👏 The self appreciation society of the UK’s most damaging quango … let’s recap on those 25 birthday years … A number of dubious market reforms and periods of resultant instability for Industry and Individuals. The transition to the most expensive energy system in the modern world while using the free fuels provided by the Earth’s wind and fire. Wholesale Price Spikes: Lack of readiness for 2021-2022 global energy crisis leading to significant financial strain for U.K. customers and suppliers that regulators were late to the party on. Supplier Insolvencies: During the crisis, many energy suppliers went out of business because they couldn't pass the soaring wholesale costs onto customers on fixed tariffs, exposing the regulatory failures and a fragile market structure. Investment Gap: Ongoing uncertainty about energy policy and future prices has hindered the pace of necessary long-term investment in new generation capacity and infrastructure upgrades required for a modern, flexible grid. The authors of the "demise" have created a turbulent and complex model from a world renowned stable system. We all now face significant operational and financial challenges . Happy 25th Birthday… Good Job as ever 👏
