In business; Nvidia stock breaks above $190.00 and becomes the world's first $4.6 trillion company. Nvidia has now added $2.5 TRILLION of market cap since its April 2025 low.

Nvidia, AMD, Oracle & Broadcom have added $630 billion to their market caps on the first day of trading after announcing OpenAI partnerships. That's more than the $500 billion valuation of OpenAI!

Step aside Nvidia. Score a big win for Nvidia rival AMD. AMD and OpenAI revealed a multi-billion dollar partnership to collaborate on AI data centers that will run on AMD chips. The deal will see OpenAI purchase 6 gigawatts worth of AMD chips starting next year. What’s perhaps more interesting is that OpenAI will receive warrants for up to 160 million AMD shares, or roughly 10% of the company. AMD shares are ripping higher in early trading. OpenAI just announced another monster hardware deal, this time with AMD. Shares surged as much as 40% intraday, briefly adding more than $60 billion in market value, before closing up about 23%. For a few hours, AMD was worth more than Coca-Cola and GE.

Qualcomm and its subsidiary Nuvia have won a court case against Arm. The case relates to Oryon cores, which form the basis of Snapdragon X processors. Details of the court case A Delaware court ruled that neither Nuvia nor Qualcomm had violated Arm's license agreements. The judge dismissed the latest lawsuit, and the request for a new trial was also rejected. At the first trial, the jury was unable to reach a consensus on Nuvia. The issue concerned the Oryon cores for Snapdragon X based on the Arm v8 architecture. Arm maintained that after acquiring Nuvia, Qualcomm had to re-sign an agreement with them to revise certain licensing terms. Qualcomm, in turn, believes that the architecture agreement also extends to subsidiaries. According to a leading Qualcomm developer who worked on Oryon, Qualcomm's development contains one percent or less of Arm technology. That same developer, Gerard Williams III, was a co-founder of Nuvia. The company was founded to create energy-efficient, high-performance processor cores for data centers. The strategy was to develop proprietary designs, so the team designed from scratch and made almost no use of Arm's intellectual property. #Qualcomm #Arm
