📘 How MiCrocVET contributes to the recognition of non-formal learning in Europe 🇪🇺 The European project MiCrocVET – Developing a common approach to Micro-credentials for non-formal C-VET providers, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, promotes a shared European language around micro-credentials , the small-scale certifications that give value to skills gained outside traditional education and training paths 🎓 One of the project’s key outputs is the document “Standards and Procedures for implementing micro-credentials in non-formal C-VET providers”, a practical guide designed for training organisations, businesses and third-sector bodies 🧭 The project is led by MARKEUT SKILLS Sociedad Limitada (Spain) and carried out in partnership with E&D Knowledge Consulting (Portugal), Kainotomia & SIA EE (Greece) and OpenCom I.S.S.C. (Italy) 🌍 Together, the partners are working to make vocational education and training more flexible, inclusive and recognised across Europe 💡 👉 Read the full article and discover the document here: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/e8BiJ-qh #MiCrocVET #ErasmusPlus #OpenCom #Microcredentials #VocationalTraining #VET #LifelongLearning #InnovationInEducation #EuropeanEducation

A couple of days ago I joined “EU priorities in VET – from Osnabrück to Herning and beyond”, a Cedefop event exploring how Vocational Education & Training across Europe can adapt, modernize, and become inclusive and sustainable. Key reflections: VET must evolve beyond traditional training models. Digital tools and AI-enabled learning analytics can personalize skill paths; ESG-based modules can prepare learners for green job markets; and flexible credentials are essential to reach vulnerable learners. For Neireva, this event reinforced our conviction that education, sustainability, and technology must converge. We’re keen to support VET institutions with curriculum co-development, digital tools, and capacity building — bridging what’s currently policy talk into actionable, measurable practice. Many thanks to Cedefop, the speakers, and all participants for the stimulating exchange. Looking forward to follow-up collaboration. #VETnationalplans #ReferNet #VET #VocationalEducation #DigitalLearning #ESG #Skills #LifelongLearning #EU #Neireva #Innovation

Innovation doesn’t always happen in labs, sometimes, it begins in a classroom, a community centre, or a kitchen table conversation. Over the past decade, CCSIF-funded initiatives have empowered colleges and community partners to solve problems that matter most: Vital Solutions addressing food security. The Behavioural Analysis Unit exploring human-centred research. The Life Skills Project strengthening resilience through education. These are more than projects; they’re testaments to what happens when collaboration turns into measurable change. Explore their stories in our new CCSIF Legacy recap. #AppliedResearch #CCSIF #SSHRC #CommunityInnovation #ImpactInAction Sara Cumming, PhD

Teachers are changemakers. 👩🏫👨🏫 At the KIX EMAP Hub, we believe that strong education systems depend on the people in the classroom. Through peer learning, capacity strengthening and knowledge mobilisation, we strive to equip decision-makers with the evidence, innovation and support they need to improve the reality in the classroom. On World Teachers’ Day, we reaffirm our commitment to collaborating with teachers and policymakers to build inclusive, equitable, resilient education systems fit for the 21st century. #WorldTeachersDay #KIXEMAP #GPEKIX Global Partnership for Education International Development Research Centre (IDRC) NORRAG

What is the Collective Imagination Practice Community (CIPC)? The CIPC — funded by Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) and Arising Quo (arisingquo.com) - began as part of Cassie Robinson’s 'Imagination Infrastructuring' at JRF in 2022. Stewarded by Huddlecraft and Canopy - A Social Imagination Project, the community is a global, diverse network of 1000+ people, exploring alternative futures and shaping systems that prioritise joy, hope, and freedom to dream. The CIPC is founded on the belief that relationality is central to systems change. We are deeply interconnected with other humans, plants, animals, and the more-than-human world, and our ways of learning and being must reflect that. An ecosystem mindset of learning and collaborating is key to generating the waves of transition needed to tackle today’s polycrisis. Growing the capacity to imagine is like flexing a muscle. Our community is focused on expanding these practices, so more people can experiment, learn, and grow this skill in diverse contexts — what we call "growing the field” of collective imagination. Over the past three years, we’ve been: 💸 Micro-funding collective imagination projects via our Practice Fund 🕸️ Creating shared spaces for learning and application, such as Huddles and Seed Swaps 📚 Facilitating collective sense-making, using our Medium blog and the Seed Library to harvest and curate learning and reflections Our Seed Library contains a growing number of collective imagination practices and projects, gathered by CIPC practitioners. Explore, be inspired and apply the practices to your context: https://shorturl.at/b8Tmn

🌱 Inclusive Systems Development (ISD): Building Change That Lasts In the development sector, we often hear that while our actions address immediate needs, they sometimes fall short of creating lasting, systemic impact. This is precisely where Inclusive Systems Development (ISD) comes in — shifting the focus from direct aid to strengthening the systems that sustain progress over time. Rather than providing one-off support to vulnerable groups, ISD works to make systems more inclusive, accountable, and resilient, ensuring that all actors collaborate toward shared, sustainable outcomes. For example, when working on women’s empowerment in rural or underdeveloped contexts, success depends not just on providing market access but on understanding and addressing the barriers that prevent women from fully participating in the economy. Without tackling those underlying constraints, our efforts risk remaining at the surface rather than creating deep, enduring change. That’s why Swisscontact’s work through the ISD (or MSD) approach is so transformative — it’s about enabling systems that continue to function and evolve long after our direct involvement ends. I’m grateful for the opportunity to take part in the 3-day ISD Training by Swisscontact, alongside an inspiring team — Group Tandob 😄 — where intensive discussions and reflections truly deepened our understanding of system thinking. And the perfect finale — an insightful closing session with our Regional Director, Mr. Prashant Rana, whose decades of experience brought invaluable perspective on sustainable system development. Like planting a tree that grows into a thriving ecosystem, ISD teaches us that real change endures when systems themselves become the drivers of inclusion and resilience. 🌳 #InclusiveSystemsDevelopment #MarketSystemsDevelopment #Swisscontact #Sustainability #SystemsThinking

This week, the VETprep team is gathered in Tallinn for two days of collaboration, reflection, and forward planning. 🇪🇪 Researchers and partners from across Europe — Denmark, Spain, Croatia, Scotland, and Estonia — are coming together to discuss findings, refine methodologies, and align the next stages of our work on vocational education and training (VET). Today’s sessions focus on understanding the Estonian VET context, student retention patterns, and how national differences shape youth participation across Europe. Tomorrow, the discussions turn toward the shared challenges — and solutions — that can strengthen VET systems post-pandemic. 💡 The goal: to ensure our research doesn’t just describe Europe’s educational realities, but helps shape policies that make learning more inclusive, adaptable, and effective. It’s collaboration like this — across borders, disciplines, and perspectives — that makes the VETprep project thrive. #VETprep #VocationalEducation #EducationThatWorks #ResearchCollaboration #SkillsForLife #PostCovidLearning #Tallinn
