PM-STIAC launches S&T Clusters in India

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒&𝐓 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 The 3rd meeting of Prime Minister’s Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC) recommended the concept of Science & Technology (S&T) Clusters, recognising the need for local innovation consortia, where academia, industry and government agencies could converge around region-specific goals. Launched in 2020, by the Office of PSA, the S&T Clusters have been established as formal umbrella structures for S&T stakeholders in various regions to come together and drive a purpose-driven partnership, whilst having better synergy and retaining their autonomy. Currently, eight S&T Clusters, each with themes specific to its local needs, are present across India: → Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone Limited (AMTZ) - Vizag  → BeST - Bengaluru Science and Technology ClusterBhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation (BCKIC) → DRIIV: Delhi Research Implementation and Innovation  → Jodhpur City Knowledge and Innovation Foundation (JCKIC) → Panjab University – IIT Ropar Regional Accelerator for Holistic Innovations (PI-RAHI: Northern Region S&T Cluster) → Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC),  → Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH) Know more about S&T Clusters on OPSA’s website site: https://lnkd.in/emeGxkX    Dr (Mrs.) Parvinder Maini | Dr.Vishal Choudhary | Vivek Kumar | Shefali Uttam #SandTClusters

It's really a great initiative..!

We should established in labs that biomass is not primary source ( as per fossil fuel theory ) and secondary source only and we are confusing , but primary source is atmospheric photochemistry hydrid model formation source rocks . While post source rock work of fossil fuel theory is scientific only . Pre source rock based on assumptions. We can make our Nation petroleum exporting, rather importing nation . 1) Our energy budget will reduce . 2) efficient method to locate new oils and gas . 3) saving of foreign exchange Thabks Join out team work for collaboration pls

This is a welcome initiative, but I think there needs to be more Science & Technology Clusters located in more regions, especially in the Western Himalayan Mountain Region, for strengthening the Institutions for consolidating the mountain / cold region-specific research, utilising renewable energy and UN SDG Goals,- Hill agriculture technologies, Disaster management, and Climate Action Science. preserving Himalayan architecture with passive Solar housing technology, earthquake-resistant inputs, etc. The region-specific research and promotion always result in improving the living conditions of people, besides improving the technologies based on sustainable R&D and monitoring. Hoping for inclusion in follow-up initiative by the Govt in the near future . ..

In addition, what products are coming out from these clusters because of lots of of efforts made by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India must be branded in name of these clusters. It must be considered as production house of indigenous items for the community and not be considered as editing house for newsletters every month.
