While browsing Linkden, I came across this post (linked below) that caught my attention because its both about my major, Computational System (AI) and sustainability- which I strive to work towards since my current major is scrutinised for not being environmentally friendly. The idea of having AI used for its data and precision to transform agriculture and help us become greener, smarter, and more efficient made me deeply think about ways I could learn to create such a device which helps grow plants better and made me excited for seeing two worlds- sustainability and technology- clash to help advance agriculture. I had to share this post to show a positive aspect of AI and an idea I'd love to learn enough to contribute and add on to. https://lnkd.in/dKVBqUHh To view or add a comment, sign in

This image is AI-generated. But the idea behind it — isn’t fiction anymore. For decades, the spice industry ran on tradition. Intuition, experience, and legacy. And while that will always be our backbone the truth is, the future of spices is getting smarter. Artificial Intelligence is now entering farms, factories, and trade desks quietly, but powerfully. At OrizoSpice Private Limited, we’ve started seeing how tech can do what humans can’t always do at scale: → Predict climate and yield patterns → Detect impurities faster than manual testing → Map entire traceability chains from farm to export → Analyze global demand to reduce wastage and stockpile errors But here’s the part people often miss AI isn’t replacing experience. It’s refining it. The wisdom of a farmer who knows when turmeric is ready for harvest that can’t be coded. But it can be enhanced, protected, and scaled through technology. That’s where the next revolution lies. Not in replacing people but in amplifying their precision. The brands that survive the next decade won’t be the ones with the most land or legacy. They’ll be the ones that combine tradition with technology ethics with efficiency, and purpose with precision. And if this image symbolizes anything it’s that the next global brand in spices won’t just come from the soil. It’ll come from data. #AI #Agriculture #SpiceIndustry #Innovation #OrizoSpice #FounderJourney #SustainableBusiness #FoodTech #FutureOfTrade #Traceability #OrizoSpiceDiary (AI-generated image – no rights claimed) To view or add a comment, sign in

🤖 AI’s biggest breakthroughs aren’t loud—they’re invisible. While headlines focus on splashy launches and bold predictions, AI’s real impact in 2025 is happening behind the scenes—reshaping how we grow food, stock shelves, power healthcare, and even operate quantum computers. 🚜 In Japan, aging farmers now use AI-powered robots to harvest strawberries 400 km away. 🛍️ In retail, Spatial AI is turning store aisles into live data environments that guide staff in real time. 🔬 In pharma, quantum-AI hybrids are generating the data needed to discover new drugs. 🏛️ In government and logistics, AI is humming quietly in the background—efficient, precise, invisible. The future of AI isn’t about replacing people. It’s about amplifying what’s already working—and helping us imagine better systems. But as MIT warns, 95% of AI pilots still fail. Why? Because many companies chase “random acts of AI” instead of tying innovation to clear outcomes. ✅ The winners? They're rethinking processes, aligning leadership, and investing in people—not just tech. AI isn't coming. It’s already here—embedded in how our world operates. Are we paying attention to what it’s quietly becoming? #ArtificialIntelligence #Innovation #FutureOfWork #SpatialAI #QuantumComputing #AIinRetail #DigitalTransformation #BusinessStrategy #ProcessDesign #AILeadership https://lnkd.in/gdP5N_ud To view or add a comment, sign in

AI is becoming the secret weapon against deforestation in our food supply chains 🌱 With agriculture driving 70-80% of global deforestation, the pressure is on food companies to prove their products aren't contributing to forest loss. The EU's new deforestation regulation (EUDR) requires companies to trace their supply chains back to individual farms by December 2024. Enter AI and satellite technology. Platforms like TRACT are now using machine learning to validate farm locations, analyze deforestation patterns, and help companies spot non-compliance before it becomes a problem. The Rainforest Alliance is leveraging AI remote sensing to map deforestation risks across coffee and cocoa farms. What's fascinating is how AI can detect patterns in supply chain data - like whether reported commodity volumes actually match a farm's output capacity. It's transparency at a scale we've never seen before. The real test? Whether this technology translates into actual forest protection on the ground, not just better compliance paperwork. 🔗 Read the full Reuters article: https://lnkd.in/eykcfKJy 🌐 Explore MASSIVUE's AI solutions for sustainability: https://massivue.com/ To view or add a comment, sign in

AI is only as ethical as the humans guiding it. Retention strategies must balance prediction with respect for privacy and trust. Agriculture tech has the same challenge: how do we innovate without eroding farmer autonomy? 💡 AI should empower, not replace. #AgTech #EthicalAI #Sustainability #AIEthics #CXStrategy #CustomerTrust To view or add a comment, sign in

How AI Can Help Prevent Food Waste - Before It Even Happens Yesterday, I had the opportunity to join an inspiring panel discussion on one of the most pressing topics of our time: how artificial intelligence can help prevent food waste, not just manage it after the fact, but stop it before it begins. Angelo Djaffardjee انجيلو جافارجي moderated the session with remarkable professionalism and an engaging sense of clarity, guiding the discussion seamlessly and giving each perspective the space it deserved. It was a fascinating exchange of perspectives. Together with incredible professionals such as Bilal A Khan and Dr. Loubna Zaitouni, we explored where AI can be applied effectively across the food value chain, from production and logistics to consumption and policy. One key takeaway: data is the foundation. Without accurate, accessible, and intelligently analyzed data, even the most advanced AI models can’t make the impact they’re capable of. But when used correctly, with the right tools, transparency, and collaboration, AI becomes a game changer for sustainability. What made this discussion so valuable was not only the expertise at the table but also the shared belief that technology must serve purpose. Reducing waste isn’t just about efficiency, it’s about responsibility. It was a pleasure to contribute to this meaningful dialogue and to exchange ideas on how innovation can support a more sustainable and efficient future for the food industry. #AI #FoodTech #Sustainability #Innovation #UAE #FutureOfFood #SmartSystems #DataDriven To view or add a comment, sign in

I’ve been thinking a lot about AI’s environmental impact lately... Training models takes tons of energy and water, and the more efficient AI gets, the more we use it. That’s Jevons’ Paradox. A global coalition is forming to tackle this. Innovation needs a roadmap — and sustainability has to be part of it. 🤖🌍 https://ow.ly/41SW50X785T #ShapeTheFutureWithConfidence To view or add a comment, sign in
