Finally got my dream car. It’s not a Ferrari. Not even close. It’s a 2007 Honda Civic Type S. I loved the shape of this car when it first came out, proper character. And since I work from home and barely do 20 miles a week, it made zero sense to buy new. So I’ve gone retro. Stereo upgrade is first on the list. LCD screen needs replacing. Might swap the gear knob and handbrake cover too. Then a serious polish to finish it off. Bit like leadership really, sometimes the thing you’ve already got just needs a few upgrades to perform at its best. Speaking of upgrades… I did a talk last week at AI Week 2025 about how AI is redefining leadership and how we’re building Syncity AI to help founders do exactly that. 🎥 The link’s in the first comment if you fancy a watch and a look at the syncityai website. (Also, these car upgrades aren’t cheap, so go sign up for the app…)
Disappointed it isn't a classic 1.6 Peugeot 205 GTI!
Type R is the one.
Petrol or diesel? The petrol handles like a dream, fully balanced. The diesel is front heavy but gets great mileage and the turbo surge is delightful.
I had a 1992 Honda civic coupe with a spoiler. Loved that car
What a great car! I had a 2011 Type S Civic which I loved to bits. Had to upgrade when the kids came along but I still have it on my drive 😆
Shit name.... Superb car 👍🏻👍🏻
Classic car, triangular exhaust pipes and that front end did it for me.
