I am delighted to be a speaker at this year’s Free Electrons Program Open Day! My talk will focus on “Having the Courage to Act and the Power to Change” a theme that resonates deeply with both my professional and personal journey. At BladeBUG, innovation is all about challenging convention, pushing boundaries in robotics to help transform the way we maintain and protect the world’s wind turbine blades. Through these projects, we see every day how having the courage to act drives meaningful change. That same spirit underpins my upcoming Atlantic row as part of the World’s Toughest Row, through my campaign Call to Earth. It’s a personal mission to raise awareness for #climateaction and #ocean health, showing that when we dare to take bold steps, we can truly make a difference. I’m looking forward to sharing insights, inspiration and stories from both worlds of #innovation and #endurance and exploring how courage and action can power transformation at every level. The boat is already on her way to the start line. The next time I see her, I will be onboard for the next 3000 miles! I simply cannot wait for this new challenge to begin!
