Today I was in the “virtual war room” of our Akkodis Benelux online press conference, sharing the results of The Adecco Group’s brand-new 2025 Business Leaders report: Leading in the Age of AI – Expectations vs. Reality. We spoke with 2,000 C-suite leaders, including 100 in Belgium and 100 in the Netherlands, about how AI is already reshaping leadership and the workplace. The insights are both exciting and a wake-up call. Belgium highlights: 👉 58% expect employees to upskill for AI, yet 34% of companies have no AI policy. 👉 Only 7% of Belgian companies are “future-ready” for AI-driven change. 👉 52% of leadership teams struggle to align on strategy fast enough. 👉 Just 28% are using data to close critical skills gaps. Netherlands highlights: 👉 55% expect employees to self-learn AI skills, but 43% of companies lack AI guidelines. 👉 19% of Dutch companies are “future-ready” (vs. 7% BE, 10% global). 👉 55% of Dutch leaders say their teams struggle to align quickly. 👉 29% are using data to understand and close skills gaps. My take? “AI is moving faster than most companies can keep up. As leaders, we have to unite people and technology—with clear strategies and real support for our teams.” At Akkodis Benelux, part of The Adecco Group, we’re already partnering with clients and teams to help bridge this gap. The message is clear: it’s time to move from talking to doing. 📥 Want to dive into the full report? ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eEUWxgKH 💬 I’d love to hear: How is your company preparing to lead in the age of AI? Very insightful data from results of The Adecco Group brand-new 2025 Business Leaders report: “Leading in the Age of AI – Expectations vs. Reality.” Thank you for sharing Robert van der Eijk! #AI #AIHUMANCAPITAL
Couldn’t agree more. The pace of AI is exciting, but also a real challenge for many teams. We’re hearing the same thing from clients—there’s a strong willingness to adapt, but not always a clear roadmap. Helping people feel supported is key. It’s about progress, not perfection
太棒了!
Very insightful and eye-opening! The gap between AI expectations and actual implementation clearly shows the urgency to act. Clear strategies and real support for teams are essential to turn these challenges into opportunities. Thank you for sharing, and well done
