Exciting step forward for Whanganui and our wider region. Whanganui District Council have signed an MoU with the University of Waikato, Te Ranga Tupua Iwi Collective, Health NZ, and the Whanganui Regional Health Network affirming our partnership as a potential training region for the new NZ Graduate School of Medicine. I had the privilege of managing this work on behalf of Council, helping bring together a passionate group of partners committed to growing our own health workforce.
