🏙️ Housing as Social Infrastructure — Lessons from Copenhagen for Europe At MOME, we believe housing is much more than construction — it is social infrastructure, essential for balanced and resilient cities. Inspired by The Copenhagen Way, we see urban development as the intersection between accessibility, sustainability, and community. Each project should create both environmental and social value: 💡 Homes that produce energy. 🌿 Neighborhoods that build community. 🏡 Spaces that promote well-being and connection. Because living well means living in network — and housing is the beating heart of that living city. #MOME #Housing #SocialInfrastructure #SustainableCities #UrbanDesign #Innovation #Copenhagen #TheCopenhagenWay #SocialImpact #UrbanDevelopment #Architecture #Sustainability

The historic Siemens campus in Londons south-eastern borough Woolwich has been preserved from demolition a few years ago. As part of an ideas competition in 2024, we have selected this classic industrial set of buildings to form a new London space. The main focus of this entry was to establish new housing for London residents and the creation of work and craft spaces, for example for start-ups. The concept has been developed for the Davidson Prize, the 2024 topic was "Rethinking Home – Adapt and Reuse". 1moIt’s fascinating how a city’s story can be told through its buildings as much as through its people. The Newcastle Helix project isn’t just about redevelopment; it’s also an invitation for collaboration, curiosity and experimentation to spill out into the streets.
