Last week, for World Mental Health Day, I had the privilege of facilitating a session to the Emotive | Creative Agency team that reminded us all of an important truth: mental health isn’t something to focus on only when things go wrong, it’s something we actively nurture every single day. Some days I’m thriving… energised, grounded, connected. Other days, I’m stretched, flat, or just getting through. And that’s OK. Because thriving and struggling are both part of being human. It’s language I use often in my work and my own life .. because the more we normalise it, the more space we create for real conversations about mental health at work. In the session, we explored the science-backed PERMAH framework and practical micro-habits that build resilience before we hit breaking point. We also focused on the vagus nerve and hacks to self regulate. SO.. Is “thriving” and “struggling” part of how you talk about mental health in your workplace? If not, it’s time to change the conversation. DM me to learn more about bringing this workshop to your team. #worldmentalhealthday #wellbeing #resilience #mentalhealth #humanleadership #leadershipdevelopment #ssptraining

🌿 #WellnessWednesday | Mental Health at Work 🧠 As Mental Health Awareness Month almost wraps up, here are 4 ways (to recap on what we've spoken about this month, so far) to support your well-being at work, no matter your age or role: 👀 Check in with yourself – Notice changes in mood, energy, or motivation. 🧘♀ Take real breaks – Step away, breathe, reset. Small pauses protect your mind. 💬 Connect with others – A simple “How are you really?” can make a big difference. 🚧 Set boundaries – Respect your time. Rest is not a reward; it’s a requirement. “You can’t pour from an empty cup.” — Dr. Gabor Maté Let’s build a culture where well-being is a priority. 🌱 #WellnessWednesday #MentalHealthForAll #WorkplaceWellness #BalanceNotBurnout #YouMatter #ThirdAgeGroup

World Mental Health Day | A Reminder We All Need Mental health is not a luxury. It’s not something to think about later. It’s not just for those “going through something”. It’s for all of us. Every day. This year’s theme -“Mental Health is a Universal Human Right” is a powerful reminder that access to emotional support, stress relief, and psychological safety should not depend on privilege, geography, or awareness. At WellBe, we’ve seen firsthand how burnout, anxiety, and isolation quietly affect students, employees, and all working professionals, yet most never ask for help. So today, instead of just talking about mental health, let’s do one of the following: - Check in on one person you haven’t spoken to in a while -Give yourself permission to rest without guilt -Replace “I’m fine” with “I could use some support” You don’t have to be strong all the time. You just have to be honest. Let’s make mental health conversations normal, not annual. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters #Wellness #PreventiveHealth #Mindfulness #StopTheStigma

World Mental Health Day Today is a reminder that mental health isn’t something we talk about once a year — it’s something we live every day. In a world that moves fast and asks for constant productivity, it’s easy to lose touch with ourselves. But emotional well-being begins with pausing. Pausing to breathe. To feel. To notice what’s really going on inside. When we give ourselves permission to do that — to lead with compassion, to regulate our emotions, to regain our sense of control — we not only support our own growth, we influence every space we’re part of. Workplaces become calmer. Teams become more connected. People feel safe to be human. So today, let this be your reminder: 💚 Put you first. 💚 Honour what you feel. 💚 Choose regulation over reaction. 💚 Step into empowerment. Because mental health isn’t a destination — it’s a daily practice of merging who we are with how we show up. Take a moment today to check in with yourself — what do you need to feel grounded, supported, and well? Share it below — you never know who might need to hear your words today. 💚 #WorldMentalHealthDay #EmotionalIntelligence #MERGEMethod #WellbeingAtWork #CorporateCulture #MindfulLeadership #SelfAwareness

Let’s talk about mental health at work! We spend a big part of our lives working so taking care of our mental health at work is just as important as meeting deadlines or achieving goals. Here are a few simple reminders that can make a big difference: 1. Take real breaks. Step away from your desk, go for a walk, stretch or just breathe. Rest isn’t lazy it’s necessary. 2. Speak up early. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, talk to someone you trust. A simple conversation can change everything. 3. Set boundaries. It’s okay to log off, say no or prioritise your wellbeing. Balance helps you show up better for yourself and others. 4. Support your teammates. A quick “How are you?” can go a long way. We all need to feel seen and heard. 5. Remember you’re human. You don’t have to have it all together every day progress is better than perfection. Taking care of your mental health doesn’t make you less committed to your work it makes you stronger, more present and more capable of doing what you love. #MentalHealthAwareness #WellbeingAtWork #WorkplaceCulture #TeamSupport #KindnessMatters

Today is World Mental Health Day. 🌿 I believe that the stories we don’t tell, the fears we don’t voice, weigh on us long before we realise and showing up for someone else or even for ourselves, can change everything. I’ve seen moments where I had to pause, wrestle with self-doubt or simply sit quietly with what was going on in my mind. Those moments taught me one thing: mental health isn’t just a private battle, it’s a part of how we show up as leaders, colleagues, parents, friends. So today I commit to: • giving real space to conversations about how we’re really doing, not just “fine”. • creating/helping create an environment where asking for help isn’t a weakness. • doing what I can (big + small) so empathy and openness aren’t the exception. If you’re reading this and wondering: “Do I dare reach out?” yes. You do. Someone wants to listen. And if you’re thinking: “Am I enough?” yes. You are. Let’s make mental wellness a shared mission not just for one day, but for all days. Feel free to DM if you want to chat about this. #YouMatter #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters #EndTheStigma #BeKindToYourMind #WellbeingAtWork #LeadershipWithEmpathy #YouAreNotAlone #SelfCareIsNotSelfish #risewithmanita #likedincommunity #LeadershipWithHeart #CalgaryProfessionals #WomenOfCalgary #CommunityBuilder #EmpathyInAction

Everyone’s mental health journey is unique. Each of us has our own story, our own challenges, and our own ways of navigating them. While there is absolutely no one-size-fits-all approach, support and advice from the people around us can make a huge difference. This World Mental Health Day, the Bubble team are sharing some of the small but meaningful things we do to look after our wellbeing. From exercise and getting outdoors to taking time out with friends and family, these practices help us stay balanced and keep our minds clear. If anything here resonates with you, we’re so glad - but know that it’s okay to find your own path too. It is so important that people keep up the conversation surrounding mental health, and we'll continue to do so, at work and beyond. 💛 #WorldMentalHealthDay #WellbeingAtWork #MentalHealthMatters #AgencyLife #WorkLifeBalance

🌍 World Mental Health Day 2025 Mental health is a key part of our overall well-being - and today’s a reminder that it’s not just personal, but something we all share responsibility for. I’m really grateful for the opportunity to work with a global team that creates programs supporting health in ways that truly matter. And today, we’re focusing on one of its most vital pillars: mental health. Real change starts with each of us. When we take care of our own mental well-being, we’re better able to support others and help build a healthier, more resilient workplace. 🎯So maybe take a moment today - check in with yourself. What do you need to feel more balanced and better equipped to handle your real life stressful situations? Awareness is the first step. Leadership that embraces this mindset and leads by example makes all the difference. We do not need more “mental health awareness.” We need more honesty about what it costs to look functional when you are not. Every October, we see the same phrases — check on your friends, it’s okay to not be okay, end the stigma. But awareness that stops at slogans does not move anything forward. The truth is that mental health is not something you think your way out of. It lives in your body, your habits, your boundaries, and the systems you work within. Anxiety is not overreacting. Depression is not laziness. Burnout is not lack of resilience. These are signs of a culture that rewards silence and punishes honesty. If we are serious about awareness, we have to start by being uncomfortable — by asking how our workplaces, expectations, and even our definitions of “strong” might be part of the problem. This Mental Health Week, do more than wear green or post a hashtag. Ask better questions. Listen without trying to fix. And remember that mental health is not a weakness to manage. It is the foundation every “high performer” stands on. #MentalHealthWeek #KMVMentalHealthServices #WorkplaceWellbeing #BurnoutCulture #PsychologicalSafety #MentalHealthAwareness #HumanFirstLeadership

💭 World Mental Health Day – a challenge to organisations everywhere Today is about more than green ribbons and hashtags. It’s about asking – do we truly take mental health seriously or just pay it lip service? Many organisations say they “care about wellbeing” but how many: • Train their managers to spot the signs when someone is struggling? • Create environments where people feel safe enough to say, “I’m not okay”? • Build real, proactive strategies that protect and sustain good mental health – not just crisis support? Because if you’re not actively educating, equipping and empowering your people, you’re not really tackling mental health at work. At Inspire Ignite, our practical workshops help teams and managers build understanding, confidence and real-life tools to support themselves and others. 👉🏼 So here’s the challenge: What’s your organisation actually doing to make a difference – not just today, but every day? 🤔 #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthAwareness #Leadership #WellbeingAtWork #InspireIgnite
