National capitals are planning to push the European Commission to put forward a roadmap for “reviewing and simplifying” existing EU financial services legislation. National deputies discussed the issue during a ministerial meeting in Copenhagen last month. The conclusions, seen by POLITICO, are still at draft stage. The Court dismissed an appeal and allowed a cross appeal from a decision quantifying an incentive the appellant was entitled to receive under a development financing agreement. The judge did not err in his interpretation of the agreement and quantification of the incentive, if it were owing.
